LineRunner IS 3400 family of Ethernet switches

The LineRunner IS 3400 family (IS = Industrial Switch) contains different unit variants for the transmission of mission-critical data in dedicated networks. Depending on the variant the units come with WAN interfaces for the transmission via copper wires and/or optical fibre.

The units come with four Ethernet interfaces for the LAN connection. Additionally the units provide one or two serial interfaces to transmit legacy data.

Its feature set makes the LinRunner IS family to the ideal transmission system for telecontrol, telemetering und smart grid communication. As special feature LineRunner IS 3400 supports the protocols IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101, and IEC 60870-5-104.
